The LightEnerG™ Premium Switchable Quad Tap Ballast is designed for those who need flexibility and reliability in their home or commercial lighting systems. When using both metal halide (MH) and high-pressure sodium (HPS) bulbs, this magnetic ballast makes switching between them simple. All you need to do is power down and flip the switch.
This ballast is adaptable to a range of environments, supporting four main input voltages: 120 V, 208 V, 240 V, and 277 V. For 120 V or 240 V, just plug in the right power cord (240 V sold separately). If you need to operate at 208 V or 277 V, typically for commercial settings, a certified electrician will need to adjust the internal wiring.
Built with a sturdy aluminum housing, this ballast efficiently dissipates heat to keep everything running cool. It also includes a top-of-the-line Aerovox® capacitor. The lamp cord receptacle accepts all LightEnerG lamp cords and reflectors, making it easy to integrate into your existing setup.
