The bottom draw inlet allows the pump to operate in less than 1/2 inch of water. Hydro Flow® EZ Flex® PVC Tubing is made of a material that allows the tube to be non-rigid. The flexibility allows this tube to be easily applied to standard barbed drip stakes and push in fittings. It is soft to the touch yet can make aggressive turns without kinking. Does not contain rubber.
