Jiffy® 730 peat pellets are a convenient, no mess way to start flower and vegetable seeds and cuttings—just add water and the pellets expand to form a pot and soil in one. Made from sphagnum peat moss which provides a rich, high quality growing environment, Jiffy 730 pellets can be transplanted directly into the ground or into larger containers.
The pellets are pre-drilled with a soft center hole for easy cutting strikes and seed planting. With a pellet size of 1.25 inches (3.2 centimeters) in diameter by 1.25 inches (3.2 centimeters) high, approximately 72 pellets fit in a 1020 propagation tray.
